Carbon monoxide poisoning is so dangerous because initial symptoms are often confused with the flu or food poisoning. Headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness are initial symptoms. If no action is taken, convulsions, confusion, disorientation, unconsciousness, and death can follow.
